Job Introduction

Help us grow two brilliant brands and shake up the market.

We’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Marketing Planning Manager to lead paid and organic media planning across FunkyPigeon.com and cardfactory.co.uk. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and profitable growth — all while helping us to disrupt the market and take on the big names in the industry.

You’ll manage a multi-million-pound budget, work closely with agency and internal teams, and bring insight-led, innovative thinking to everything you do. If you’ve got experience in marketing or media planning, love data and creativity in equal measure, and want to be part of a business with bold growth ambitions — we’d love to hear from you. Please note that this is a hybrid role that will include travel between Bristol and London.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll develop and deliver paid and organic media strategies across a range of channels including brand media (incl. TV, Radio, Social) alongside PPC, SEO, affiliate and app marketing. As the owner of our annual and seasonal media plans, you’ll ensure activity aligns with marketing and trading calendars and supports wider business goals. Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with brand, CRM, finance, data and product teams to create joined-up, insight-led plans that drive results. And as a people manager, you’ll lead and grow a small internal team. Managing a multi-million-pound paid media budget, you’ll optimise investment levels and channel mix to support brand building and acquisition growth, all as part of our ambitious five-year growth plan. Marketing effectiveness is at the heart of your role, you'll use analytics and forecasting skills and measurement tools like Brand equity tracking, MMM and GA4 to measure impact and guide decision-making, regularly presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid experience in media and/or marketing planning — agency or client side.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, performance marketing and marketing measurement.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast KPIs and link investment to business outcomes.
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally.
  • A creative, curious mindset with a drive to challenge the norm and grow market share.
