Job Introduction
cardfactory are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Technology Product Owner - to join our growing IT team with a focus on Supply Chain and Business Development.
As a Technology Product Owner - Supply Chain, your role will responsible for the digital transformation and maintenance of cardfactory’s Supply Chain Technology, ensuring it aligns with the business strategy. You will identify, size, and prioritise supply chain technology demands by collaborating closely with supply chain stakeholders and technology teams. Additionally, you recommend, manage projects, deploy, and continually improve cardfactory’s Supply Chain Technology. You also ensure appropriate technology support is in place, track performance against SLAs, and provide ongoing feedback to support teams on ticket resolution.
Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Select and manage technology partners for cardfactory’s Supply Chain function.
- Oversee the annual budget for Supply Chain Technology, including licensing, maintenance, and hosting costs.
- Manage projects and sprints for continuous improvement of Supply Chain systems, balancing benefits with technical debt and foundational needs.
- Collaborate with Operations Director for end-to-end Supply Chain Technology service, Leader of Infrastructure & Middleware for environment management, performance, and availability, Core Business Systems squad, and the Leader of Security & Compliance to minimise vulnerabilities.
- Support broader Supply Chain IT projects and tech products as needed.
- Apply established project management standards for transparency, visibility, traceability of activities, decisions, resource utilization, and costs.

- Experience in supply chain platforms and delivering technology to support people management.
- Ability to make strategic, change, and operational decisions based on strategic insight, financial acumen, sound logic, and rationale.
- Passionate, convincing, and highly engaging technology and change professional motivated by delivering outstanding and sustainable results.
- Strategic and creative thinker with strong leadership and people skills,
- Strong communication skills, ability to challenge, build credibility with diverse audiences, and work with integrity.
- Capable of working with ambiguity and sourcing innovative and creative solutions with limited resources and budget.
- Tenacious, analytical, and resilient with a track record in adapting to changing priorities and a fast-moving environment. A agent of change.
