Job Introduction
As we enter an exciting new phase in our journey at cardfactory, we also have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join our online team.
Based at our manufacture and supply facility near Bradford, you will manage the order input and planning of Point of Sale (POS) items, liaising with our Campaign and Marketing teams. If successful, you will be joining the business at a pivotal moment, as we move to internalise our own Point of Sale print for the first time.

Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing the production planning, monitoring and reporting progress of the items being manufactured ensuring delivery dates are met.
- Attendance in the RAG meetings with the cardfactory POS team.
- To manage and oversee the input of POS jobs and any prices or quotes required for new items required.
- Estimating and providing costs/quotes for new items.
- Manage the contact with the cardfactory design and POS team.
- Obtain competitive quotes and purchase raw materials.
- Place and manage orders with external suppliers, when required.
- Main point of contact for the POS manufacture for our internal cardfactory team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in production planning and management of orders.
- Experience of obtaining competitive quotes (ideally in the use of Tharstern) and price negotiations.
- Good understanding and ability to use Excel and spreadsheets to supply quotes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills in general.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels and the ability to work in a fast-paced role.
- Computer knowledge in use of Excel, training will be given in the use of Tharstern production MIS programme.
- Good level and high standards of housekeeping and health and safety culture.
