The HR Shared Services Administrator role will provide a comprehensive support service across the HR Team. You will provide excellent service and support, working as a team to own the administration processes and continuously looking for more efficient and effective ways of working.
Main Responsibilities
- To manage the life cycle of colleagues, i.e. starters, leavers, contract changes, absences and family leave
- Maintain the Right to Work checks, carrying out government checks when required
- Providing administration support to the People Development and BP functions, including but not limited to:
- To support the co-ordination and administration of our apprenticeship scheme
- To support the administration process of consultations and change
- Maintain the HR systems, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
- Regular review and improvement of administration processes and systems, taking into account other system resources within the business and make recommendations of where improvements can be made, considering all stakeholders
- To support the HR function with any ad hoc reporting required from the HR systems
- Achieve annual objectives, as set by the HR Administration, Data and Benefits Manager
- Contribute and assist with projects where required
- Deal with and direct incoming calls, post and emails within HR, working within agreed SLA’s
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have HR Administration experience;
- Being an advocate for great customer service internal and eternally;
- Accurately undertaking tasks and responding to requests within Dept. SLA’s;
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times whilst complying with GDPR.
